First Everest Climber in The World

Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay were the first conqueror of Mount Everest in the world. 58 years ago, two climbers, Edmund Hillary from New Zealand and Tenzing Norgay from Nepal, successfully become the first conqueror of the world’s highest mountain peak, Everest. According to the news station A & E Television,  that two climbers immediately stuck four flags on high mountain peaks of 29,028 feet above sea level.

Since the decade of the 1920s, the climbers repeatedly attempt to conquer Everest.However, nothing is as successful as Hillary and Norgay. They joined a British expedition team. BBC television revealed that the two explorers were only able to stay on top for 15 minutes because they do not want to risk a lack of oxygen. Moreover, the night before, they had spent the night at an altitude of 27,900 feet.

The conquest of Mount Everest news broadcast to the world on June 2, 1953, which coincided with the inauguration of the new queen of England, Elizabeth II. A year later,Queen Elizabeth II knighted give to Hillary.
